Safe Harbor Global is a Washington, D.C.-based event and conference  company that specializes in transformational business development in frontier markets.  Safe Harbor Global hosts international investment forums for America’s small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), select large businesses, government officials, and multilateral agencies in North Africa, West Africa, and the Middle East. Safe Harbor Global’s mission is to create platforms for growth for American businesses seeking new markets, opportunities to expand, and create jobs. In keeping with Safe Harbor Global’s mission and values, the company follows a strict policy of holding  diverse and inclusive events, which requires engaging accomplished American  minority- and women-owned businesses.

In June 2011, Peter founded both Safe Harbor Global and forward looking financial news
Group, Capitol Intelligence Group. Prior to launching the two companies, Peter was the Washington, DC Bureau Chief for Mergermarket (Dealreporter/Debtwire) of the Financial Times and personally headed political/economic coverage of the US House of Representatives and Senate.
Before moving back to his native Washington, Peter launched Mergermarket's foreign coverage starting in Italy and later opened the news services bureaus in Italy, Switzerland, Eastern Europe, Russia/CIS, Middle East and North Africa and was instrumental to start-
up’s 2006 sale to the Financial Times for USD 200m.
Peter worked as an investigative journalist and business reporter for the Sunday Times of London and launched Bloomberg Business News in
Italy in the early 1990s. Peter started his career as a police reporter for the City News of Bureau of Chicago.

Charles Chamberlayne – Chief Operating Officer 
Charles Chamberlayne is a public affairs specialist, political consultant, and veteran of Capitol Hill. As an expert at communicating complex legislation and policy initiatives to the public, his resume includes working as a spokesperson for Senator John Cornyn of Texas, former Senator Kit Bond of Missouri, former Senator Pete V. Domenici of New Mexico, and former Speaker of the House, J. Dennis Hastert of Illinois. Charles is a native of Somerset, New Jersey and holds a double degree in history and political science from Howard University.

As a Senate staffer, Charles has worked in every U.S. Senate office building on Capitol Hill and been engaged in many controversial political battles from handling policies on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee during America’s energy crisis in 2006, to the dilemma surrounding America’s intelligence community and the use of water boarding to fight terrorism in 2008, to issues with President Obama’s health care reform law in 2010, and solutions to the ongoing budget battles waged this year.
Charles is the son of ministers: Chuck Chamberlayne, Pastor of the Reformed Church of New Brunswick, NJ and Sharon Chamberlayne, an Associate Minister at First Baptist of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, NJ.

Zyad Benaissa - Chairman.
Zyad is currently the Regional Manager for Africa for Rochester,NY-based listed Carestream medical group. Zyad graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Zyad is a dual citizen of the United States and Tunisia and whose family is native to Djerba and resides in Paris with his four children.

Donald R. Wilson – Founder and Owner of DRW Trading Group of Chicago. Donald is also graduate of the University of Chicago and owner of the largest
derivative trading house in the United States.Donald passions are sailing and heliskiing.  Donald is hosting the Chicago Match Race www.chicagomatchrace.com this summer and what will become the City of Chicago’s premier international sporting event.

Professor Edward Dunson. Professor Dunson is the Chairman of the Howard University Architecture Department and former senior architect
for America’s premier design firm Skidmore Owens.

Brig. General Ernie Audino (U.S Army, Ret.). General Audino currently is an international business advisor to Orlando, Florida-based Raydon group.
